ABOUT ME
HI, I'M CELIA HACK!
I was born and raised in the Kansas City area and am a senior at Brown University pursuing a B.A. in environmental science and economics. More than anything, I am a journalist with the ultimate goal of connecting the public with accessible and digestible information. Currently, I am based in Providence, Rhode Island and am available for freelance jobs.

I've been fascinated by and dedicated to journalism ever since I stepped foot into my high school's 'j-room.' Since then, I've worked as an intern for ecoRI News, a freelancer for the Shawnee Mission Post and the Journal, a documentarian, and a reporter and section editor for my college newspaper, The Brown Daily Herald. In particular, I'm passionate about reporting on climate change and the environment. I'm also excited about different mediums of journalism — I worked as the video editor of my college newspaper — and accessible and inclusive journalism.
